Harvey's Parramatta is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Service Technician - Air Conditioning to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Parramatta, NSW 2150. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of air conditioning and refrigeration systems for both residential and commercial clients. You will be at the forefront of our service delivery, ensuring customers receive exceptional support and high-quality workmanship. Key responsibilities

- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on faulty air conditioning units to identify issues accurately
- Conduct preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Repair and replace damaged components including compressors, condensers, evaporators and refrigerant lines
- Handle and manage refrigerants safely in accordance with environmental regulations and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs completed and parts used
- Provide clear explanations to customers regarding work completed and maintenance recommendations
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and workplace regulations on job sites
- Travel to various customer locations throughout the Sydney/ NSW region to complete service calls

What we’re looking for

- Current Air Conditioning and Refrigeration licence (or equivalent qualification recognised in NSW)
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience in HVAC service, maintenance or repair work
- Sound knowledge of refrigeration cycles,



electrical systems and pressure testing equipment
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, manifold gauges and other specialist HVAC equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces where required
- Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
