The Baan Baa Hotel is looking for a capable, hands on Pub Manager to take ownership of the day to day operations of our classic country hotel located in Baan Baa, NSW.

About the Role

As Pub Manager, you will oversee the day to day running of the hotel, including bar and kitchen operations, customer service, staff coordination, accommodation support, stock control, compliance, and general venue presentation. You will be the face of the hotel for locals, travellers, seasonal workers, and visitors passing through the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily pub operations across bar, dining, accommodation, and general venue areas.
- Lead, support, and roster staff to ensure reliable and friendly service.
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with locals and visitors.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, cash handling, and basic reporting.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety and compliance.




- Support food and beverage service during busy periods.
- Assist with accommodation enquiries, bookings, and guest needs as required.
- Promote a positive team culture and uphold the welcoming country feel of the hotel.

About You

- Previous experience in pub, hotel, hospitality, or venue management.
- A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
- Strong people skills and a calm, practical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to lead a small team and work hands-on across all areas of the venue.
- Confidence with rosters, stock, cash handling, and day-to-day administration.
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable working flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- A genuine appreciation for regional communities and country hospitality.
