Alchemy in Motion is continuing to grow and we are excited to be seeking another physiotherapist with a background and interest in Pelvic Health and/or MSK Physiotherapy to join our supportive, dynamic and multidisciplinary team in Gympie.
JOB HIGHLIGHTS:
Permanent part time (hours negotiable)

We have a wide variety of close collaborations and partnered programmes with other local businesses, referrers including consultants, surgeons and GPs and local council such as:
Guaranteed obstetric referral pathways - included in private obstetricians' pregnancy management service
Established referral pathways from cardiologists, pain specialists, orthopaedic surgeons, colorectal specialists, gastoenterologists, obstetricians & gynaecologists as well as a wide variety of GPs
Referral pathways and programmes established with local businesses such as gyms, personal trainers and other health care providers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
You will be confident, passionate and empathetic

You will be registered with AHPRA and have a current certificate of insurance at the time of employment commencement
Ideally, you will be able to treat both pelvic floor and musculoskeletal conditions however, we will also create a role for someone who is exclusively pelvic floor OR MSK.
We are seeking an experienced clinician who can hit the ground running with an established list. However, we will also consider an exceptional new grad applicant who is confident and eager to commit to a team who will support them through a new graduate mentorship.

We have designed and developed a clear and effective triage system that identifies everyone's area of special interest which assists with client management and allows for optimum client outcomes.
The skills or interest areas that our pelvic health physios have include:
Pelvic floor dysfunction / rehab (female & male)
POP assessment and management (incl. pessary prescription)
Bladder and bowel dysfunction (female and male)
Pelvic pain (female & male)
Gynae conditions/rehab (e.g. endo/adeno, pre/post op hysterectomy / POP repair)
Men's Health - Pre/post prostatectomy / TURP management, sexual dysfunction
Paediatric / adolescent continence
Breast dysfunction - mastitis, engorgement, blocked ducts
Obstetric MSK conditions
Exercise prescription within the obstetric population
The skills or interest areas that our MSK physios have include:
Experience in manual therapy
Ability to assess and diagnose wide range of sporting / acute injuries
Experience with post operative orthopaedic protocols and management
Ability to prescribe exercise rehabilitation programs and progress in a timely manner
BONUS CLINICAL SKILLS
It would be excellent if the applicant had additional experience or interest in:
Pilates
Vestibular physiotherapy
Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy
Dry needling
