About Role:
Design workplaces people genuinely want to work in.
JasonL Design Studio is expanding, and we’re looking for a talented mid-level interior designer (3–5 years experience) with robust capability across commercial workplace design, office fit-outs, and interior documentation.
This role suits a designer who is equally confident developing strong workplace concepts and spatial strategies and delivering detailed, technically resolved documentation packages.
You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle — from early test-fits and concept design through to detailed joinery documentation and project handover.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop workplace test-fits, space planning, and office layout strategies
- Create design concepts, mood boards, and client presentations
- Lead FF&E; selection and workplace materiality development
- Produce detailedtender documentation and construction drawing packages
- Prepareaccurate and well-resolved joinery details(not just outline design)
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, and builders
- Help shape workplaces that balance design intent, functionality, and commercial outcomes
What You’ll Bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience incommercial interior design (workplace / office focus)
- Qualification in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
- Strong experience in office fit-outs and workplace environments
- Proven ability inboth design thinking and technical delivery
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent presentation tools)
- Confident communicator with strong client presentation skills
- A genuine interest in how workplace design influences behavior, productivity, and culture
