We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Health Support Services Trainer to deliver high-quality training and assessment to students undertaking health support, aged care, disability, and allied health support qualifications. This role is ideal for an industry professional who enjoys mentoring learners and supporting them to develop practical skills and knowledge for careers in health and community services.
About the role
As a Health Support Services Trainer, you will deliver training aligned with the CHC Training Package, ensuring learners develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to provide safe and effective health and support services.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver face-to-face and/or online training and assessment in health support services
- Assess student competency in line with training package requirements
- Develop and maintain training and assessment materials
- Ensure compliance with RTO and regulatory standards
- Support and mentor students,
including adult learners and those with diverse needs
About you
- Relevant qualification in health, aged care, disability, or community services
- Current and relevant industry experience
- Training and Assessment qualification (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- Strong practical knowledge of care practices and workplace standards
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Desirable
- Experience delivering training within an RTO or TAFE
- Experience working with apprentices, trainees, or adult learners
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
