We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionateCommunity Support Workerto join our team at Mounties Care to provide support for our wonderful clients acrossLogan,QLD, on aCasual or Part time basis.
More specifically, some of your duties may include:
- Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
- Food preparation and shopping
- Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
- Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
- Providing social interaction and companionship
- Transport to appointments
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will ideally have:
- Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
- Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
- Hold a NDIS clearance - or willing to obtain
- Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
- Current Police Check – or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain
- Must have own car & relevant insurances
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
