The Role

This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who is eager to learn, versatile with tasks, and ready to support a close‑knit team.

Based at Seven Hills, you will be responsible for safely processing, sorting, loading and unloading scrap metal and recycling materials while maintaining a strong focus on housekeeping, customer service and safe work practices.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will be varied and can include:

- Manual processing and sorting of various scrap metals
- Preparing materials for resale
- Maintaining site cleanliness and safety
- Providing friendly and professional customer service




- Operating hand and power tools (e.g. drills, grinders)
- Loading/unloading trucks using forklift or excavator

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be:

- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Presentable, with a professional attitude
- A team player with the ability to also work independently
- Safety-conscious and proactive
- Holding a current forklift licence (required)
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Desirable (but not essential):

- VOC for excavator operation
- Truck licence
- Welding or other trade experience
- Previous experience in a waste or recycling environment
