DCO Plumbing is seeking a dedicated 3rd year Apprentice Plumber to join our team in Pitt Town, NSW. This is a full-time position offering you the opportunity to complete your apprenticeship with an experienced and reputable plumbing company. As a 3rd year apprentice, you will be transitioning from foundational training into more complex plumbing tasks, working alongside qualified plumbers to develop your expertise in residential and commercial plumbing installations, maintenance and repairs. This role is crucial in building your pathway towards becoming a fully qualified tradesperson in the plumbing industry.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting qualified plumbers with the installation, maintenance and repair of water supply, drainage and heating systems
- Preparing and organising plumbing materials, tools and equipment for job sites
- Fitting and testing pipes, fixtures and fittings in accordance with relevant building codes and standards
- Learning to diagnose plumbing faults and implementing appropriate solutions under supervision
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Adhering to all health and safety requirements on job sites
- Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors and customers
- Contributing to a safe and professional work environment

What we're looking for

- Currently enrolled or recently completed the first two years of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between job sites
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments and positions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship




- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude, reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge and skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely under supervision
- Previous experience in the trades or construction industry is advantageous
