We're seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our growing Operations team, supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of advanced environmental monitoring systems across Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for an electrician, instrumentation technician, electronics technician or mechatronics professional who enjoys problem-solving, working autonomously and travelling to a variety of industrial sites.

You'll work with cutting edge Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems and analytical instrumentation, supporting major industrial and infrastructure clients throughout Australia.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing and repairing sophisticated environmental monitoring equipment while delivering exceptional technical support to customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Installing and commissioning environmental monitoring systems.

- Preventative maintenance, servicing and equipment inspections.

- Diagnosing electrical, instrumentation, electronic and communication faults.

- Calibrating analytical instruments and verifying system performance.

- Performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

- Completing service reports and technical documentation.

- Providing onsite and remote technical support.

- Delivering customer operator training.





- Supporting system upgrades and equipment modifications.

- Working closely with Engineering and Operations teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

- Maintaining company tools, vehicles and test equipment.

- Following WHS requirements and completing site safety documentation.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

- A trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation or a related discipline.

- A current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.

- Strong electrical and instrumentation fault-finding skills.

- Experience servicing industrial equipment.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Strong organisational and reporting skills.

- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

- A willingness to travel throughout Australia.

Highly Regarded

Experience with any of the following will be highly regarded:

- Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS)

- Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems

- Gas analysers

- Scientific or analytical instrumentation

- Process instrumentation

- PLCs and industrial communication networks

- Industrial automation

- Environmental monitoring technologies

- ISO quality systems

- NATA-accredited environments
