Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing
Shifts: Day, Afternoon & Weekend Shifts Available
Times:Weekend Roster:Friday to Monday – 5:00AM starts (Fri: 8hrs, Sat/Sun:12hrs, Mon: 8hrs).Afternoon Shift:Monday to Friday – 1:00PM-9:00PM
Rate: $50 - $51 + shift loadings + super + overtime
Overtime: PLENTY AVAILABLE!
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Fitter to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, preventative maintenance, and working as part of a collaborative team, we'd like to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Fitter, you'll play a key role in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. You'll be responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown response, equipment repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.




- Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and workplace safety.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance.

About the Role

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
- Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment (preferred).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Flexibility to work Day, Afternoon, or Weekend shifts.
