Qld Rock Breakers has been supplying premium hydraulic attachments to the civil, quarrying and mining industries since 1988. We pride ourselves on providing quality products, exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with our customers.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for either an experienced Sales Representative or a motivated Trainee with strong mechanical aptitude who is keen to build a long-term career in the earthmoving industry.
This is an office-based role at our Rocklea office, where you'll become part of a knowledgeable, supportive team representing industry-leading hydraulic earthmoving attachments.
About the Role
This role offers flexibility to utilise the strengths of the successful candidate while providing opportunities to develop new skills.
Your responsibilities will include
- Building and maintaining solid customer relationships
- Providing sales and product support to customers across the civil and mining sectors
- Understanding customers' equipment and attachment requirements
- Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities
- Delivering outstanding customer service on every interaction
- Working closely with our experienced team to ensure customer satisfaction
About You
You’ll ideally have:
- Good technical and mechanical aptitude with an interest in earthmoving equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A willingness to learn and develop your product knowledge
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A stable employment history
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
Experienced applicants will also have
- Previous sales experience, ideally in a technical, industrial or earthmoving environment
- Knowledge of hydraulic attachments, earthmoving equipment or related products (highly regarded)
For Trainee applicants
Previous sales experience isn't essential. If you have a genuine mechanical interest, enjoy working with people and are eager to learn, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
