This Position Location is Regional and can be based in either Chinchilla, Dalby, Jandowae, Miles, Tara or Wandoan

Work location and qualification will be tailored to suit the successful applicant's skills, interests, and abilities. Trainees can be based in any of Council's major regional centres, including Chinchilla, Dalby, Jandowae, Miles, Tara, and Wandoan,
and gain valuable experience across a diverse range of Council departments. Placement opportunities may include Libraries, Parks and Recreation, Works, Records Management, Administration, and many other service areas.
About yourself
A person in this position will:
- Needto hold a relevant Year 12 Certificate in Education ORbeable todemonstrateequivalent related experience;
- Havea basic understanding of their preferred working area;
- Berequiredto complete the agreed qualification within the contracted period;
- Berequiredto undertake pre-employment literacy and numeracy tests;
- Be willing to obtain anOH&S; Construction Induction White Card prior to commencement(if applicable);
- BerequiredtopassaNational Criminal HistoryPolice Check (if applicable);
- Berequiredto undertake a pre-employment medical (if applicable);
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment to work towards and achieve team objectives; and
- Be able to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail.
