About the Role
As Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurateand timely delivery of payroll services across the organisation. Working aspart of a collaborative team, you'll manage end-to-end payroll processes,maintain payroll records and systems, and provide expert advice onpayroll-related matters.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring extensivepayroll experience, a strong understanding of Awards and Enterprise Agreements,and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-endprocessing of Sunnyfield's payroll.
- Maintainingpayroll and time and attendance systems.
- Updatingand managing employee payroll records.
- Processingterminations and workers compensation payments.
- Preparingpayroll reporting to meet internal and statutory requirements.
- Reconcilingand processing superannuation contributions.
- Respondingto payroll enquiries from employees and managers.
- InterpretingAwards, Enterprise Agreements and employment contracts, including overtimeand shift allowance provisions.
- Supportingpayroll compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You'll be someone who:
- Ispassionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people withdisability.
- Hasproven payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
- Possessesstrong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Communicatesconfidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstratesexcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Takesownership of their work while contributing positively to a collaborativeteam setting.
- Hasstrong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
