Lime Recruitment is currently working with a leading global mining group to recruit an experienced Contracts Advisor - Mining. In this role you will define aspects of contracting and procurement activities, supporting the day-to-day commercial function of projects. The role contributes to contract strategy development, contract administration, contractor performance management, reporting, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer the full lifecycle of assigned project construction packages, with specific focus on civil/earthworks scopes.
- Support the development and execution of Project Contracting Plans (PCPs) outlining procurement strategies, risk allocations, and value drivers.
- Maintain active, practical involvement across the entire contract lifecycle - from pre-award setup through to practical completion and final accounts.
- Drive active contractor performance management, monitoring safety compliance, KPI achievement, quality outcomes, and schedule progress.
- Manage structured contract close-out activities, ensuring final account reconciliations, claim resolutions, release of securities,



and capture of lessons learned.
- Maintain accurate and complete contract data within administration systems and databases.
- Verify and process contractor payment claims, variations, and adjustments (especially under cost-reimbursable frameworks).
- Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Contract Specialists, Finance, and Category teams.

About you

- Practical experience in procurement, contracts administration, or commercial support within project environments, with exposure to civil and earthworks packages.
- Familiarity with various contract structures, including lump sum, schedule of rates, and cost-reimbursable contracts.
- Hands-on involvement in end-to-end contract administration, with a focus on active contractor performance management and formal contract close-out.
- Robust understanding of basic contracting principles, payment verification mechanisms, and risk management.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and comfort working within enterprise systems and structured workflows.
