We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Warranty Administrator to join the team at MMG Auto - Service. This is a full-time position based in Moorooka, QLD 4105. As Warranty Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing warranty claims, documentation and customer communications for Nissan, Hyundai, Suzuki and Isuzu Ute. This position is essential to ensuring smooth operations within our automotive service department and maintaining robust customer relationships through efficient warranty management and support.

Key responsibilities

- Processing and submitting warranty and goodwill claims from receipt through to completion, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions
- Liaising with manufacturers, customers and service teams to gather necessary information and supporting documentation for warranty claims
- Maintaining and reconciling comprehensive warranty records and databases, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date and readily accessible for audit purposes
- Verifying warranty coverage and eligibility for services and repairs performed at the dealership
- Tracking warranty claim status and following up on outstanding or rejected claims with relevant parties
- Preparing and submitting warranty documentation to manufacturers within required timeframes
- Assisting customers with warranty enquiries and providing clear explanations of coverage terms and conditions
- Coordinating with the service department to ensure warranty work is completed correctly and documented properly
- Identifying trends in warranty claims and reporting issues to management for resolution
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive customer information professionally

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Warranty Administrator or in a similar administrative role within the automotive industry




- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Proficiency in using computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of automotive warranty processes and manufacturer requirements is advantageous
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to resolving warranty-related issues
- Professional demeanour and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team setting
- A valid Australian driver's licence is preferred
