The Opportunity

We're seeking an organised and proactive Maintenance Storeperson to join our Engineering team at our Mount Cotton facility.

This hands-on role is responsible for the effective management of the Maintenance Department Stores, ensuring spare parts, consumables, tools and equipment are available to support safe and reliable manufacturing operations. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting maintenance planning activities and helping minimise operational downtime.

Working closely with Maintenance, Procurement and Production teams, you'll contribute to inventory optimisation, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate inventory records for spare parts, consumables, tools and equipment.

- Receive, inspect, label and store incoming goods.

- Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.

- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.

- Issue and track spare parts, tools and consumables for maintenance personnel.

- Maintain inventory transactions and master data within SAP, MEX or other approved systems.





- Work with Maintenance Planners to ensure parts are available for scheduled maintenance.

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised storeroom using 5S principles.

- Manage obsolete, damaged and non-conforming inventory.

- Support procurement activities, audits and reporting.

- Contribute to continuous improvement, cost control and lifecycle management initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, environmental and WHS requirements.

About You

- Experience in maintenance stores, warehousing, inventory control or manufacturing environments.

- Experience using SAP, MEX, CMMS, ERP or similar systems.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

- Ability to interpret technical manuals, descriptions and spare parts catalogues.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Desirable:

- Forklift Licence.

- Experience in food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments.
