We are looking for an experienced Welding Supervisor to join the Allweld Team.

This role requires the capability and experience to perform the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily welding operations.
- Train and support welding team members
- Inspect welding work for quality.
- Ensure a secure work environment.
- Manage the Qualification of Weld procedures and Operators
- Coordinate Inspection and Test activities to support Weld Procedure and Operator qualification
- Coordinate NDT requirements in production to meet schedule
- Support the training and up skilling of weld operators
- Conduct audits on the Welding activities to ensure facility complies with the Weld Management System requirements
- Ensure the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Weld Management System.
- Achieve and maintain welding performance KPI’s to support Production delivery.
- Manage weld traceability for all jobs where required
- Compilation and review of MDR’s & Quality Documentation
- Provide technical advice and assistance to the workshop team
- Preparation and implementation of project quality management systems
Qualifications:
- IWS – International Welding Specialist or equivalent.
- Level 2 Mag Particle
- Welding Supervisor CertificateIAW AS 2214, AS 1796Cert 10
- Experience in welding supervision.
- Knowledge of welding techniques.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, understand and implement the requirements of the relevant Weld/Fabrication/Manufacturing standards and codes.
- Knowledge of NDT and Destructive testing methods and their application to weld testing.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Robotic Resistance and Mig Welding systems an advantage.
- Experience implementing improvements in Welding standards
- MIG/TIG/ARC welding experience

Looking to start straight away as casual with 6 months probation before full time.
