Choorechillum (Ngadjon Jii PBC) Aboriginal Corporation is seeking an experienced and values-driven Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Corporation. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, this leadership role oversees organisational operations, financial management, governance, human resources, workplace health and safety and project delivery across the Administration Team, Ranger Programs and Ngadjon Language Program.

Choorechillum (Ngadjon Jii PBC) Aboriginal Corporation is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate representing the Ngadjon-Jii People of the Atherton Tablelands. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporation.
- Provide strategic leadership across Administration, Ranger Programs and the Ngadjon Language Program.




- Oversee financial management, budgeting and reporting.
- Drive organisational planning, systems and continuous improvement.
- Lead recruitment, employee performance and workforce development.
- Ensure governance, funding and WHS compliance.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for the Board of Directors.
- Build strong relationships with Traditional Owners, community and funding partners.
- Support delivery of strategic projects and organisational objectives.

About You

You are an experienced leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and supporting Aboriginal communities.

- Have leadership and operational management experience.
- Experience managing people, budgets and organisational performance.
- Strong financial, governance and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations or communities.
- Collaborative leadership style with integrity and accountability.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Have at least 5 years experience in Operations Management or similar leadership role.
- Qualifications in Business, Management, Project Management or related discipline (desirable).
- Sound working knowledge of finance, HR and governance.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Willingness to undertake occasional travel.
