Quality Control Raw Material Analyst - Afternoon

The Opportunity

We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Quality Control – Raw Material Analyst to join our dedicated team on a permanent full time basis on Afternoon Shift (3pm-11pm). The Quality Control – Raw Material Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of raw materials used in the production of our products. This position involves conducting analytical testing, documentation and compliance checks to meet industry and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct physical and chemical testing of raw materials, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements

Perform identification, purity, and potency tests using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and titrations

Prepare and standardise reagents and solutions for laboratory testing





Review and compare results against approved specifications

Document all testing procedures and results accurately in accordance with TGA requirements

Maintain laboratory equipment by performing routine calibrations, troubleshooting, and liaising with service engineers when needed

Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related discipline

Experience in a quality control laboratory within the complementary medicine or pharmaceutical industry

Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and techniques

Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical testing and regulatory requirements

High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance

Strong communication and teamwork skills
