We looking for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing Personal Injury team in Fairfield.

This full-time role will see you providing invaluable support to our team of personal injury lawyers, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our personal injury cases. About the role

You will manage day-to-day personal injury matters, including:

- Drafting correspondence, statements, chronologies and other legal documents
- Liaising with clients, medical professionals, insurers, courts and other external parties
- Assisting lawyers with the day-to-day management of personal injury claims
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files, records and case-management systems
- Requesting, reviewing and organising medical records, reports and supporting evidence
- Assisting with the preparation of briefs, settlement documents and hearing materials
- Scheduling appointments, managing deadlines and coordinating calendars
- Reviewing evidence and developing your ability to assess claim viability
- Providing compassionate and professional support to clients throughout the claims process
- Contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the Personal Injury team




- Performing other administrative and legal-support duties as required

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least one year of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant or in a similar legal-support role, particularly in personal injury
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career as a paralegal
- Strong drafting, research and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet key deadlines
- Confidence communicating with clients, medical providers, insurers and other stakeholders
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
- Experience using LEAP
- A professional, friendly and client-focused approach
