We're growing our short-course delivery in the construction and civil space — and we need an experienced trainer who lives and breathes site safety.

The role

We're after a qualified Trainer/Assessor to deliver and assess White Card (CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) and Traffic Control (RIISS00054 Traffic Controller Skill Set — the SafeWork NSW "Blue Card"). This is a part-time / contractor role with flexible scheduling — ideal if you want to pick up regular training days around other work.

What you'll be doing

Delivering engaging, compliant White Card and Traffic Control training to small groups

Assessing students to the standard and completing all assessment records correctly





Keeping delivery aligned with NCVE's compliance requirements and the relevant training package

Maintaining your own industry currency and credentials

Working with our admin and compliance team to keep everything audit-ready

What we're looking for

TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or TAE40116 with a commitment to upgrade) — essential

Vocational competency in, and the ability to deliver and assess, CPCWHS1001 and RIISS00054

Current SafeWork NSW traffic control work training credentials (Implement Traffic Management Plans / Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan highly regarded)

Recent, relevant industry experience in construction and/or civil / traffic management

Confident, engaging delivery style — you can hold a room and keep it practical

Based in or near Wollongong / the Illawarra, or able to travel there for scheduled training days

Own reliable transport; valid NSW driver's licence
