The Crossing Theatre comprises of 2 cinemas, a candy bar, a café, a bar, event spaces, including the largest auditorium in the region, and an off-site kiosk.
About the Role
Our TCT Operations Coordinator role is pivotal in ensuring The Crossing Theatre operates like a well-oiled machine. You'll lead the day-to-day operations from the frontline and support commercial performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership, direction and support to staff across front of house, hospitality and event delivery functions to ensure high standards of customer service, teamwork and operational performance;
- Assist the Manager Entertainment and Leisure Services to plan, monitor, control and review revenue, operational expenditure and capital project expenses, including providing analysis, insights and recommendations to inform decision‑making;
- Oversee the delivery of events to ensure staffing, service delivery, catering and operational requirements are effectively coordinated across front of house, kitchen and event teams;
- Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional customer service, including management of customer enquiries and complaints,
timely resolution of issues and escalation where required.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you’ll be a hospitality professional. A quick thinker who loves the hustle and bustle of a thriving hospitality venue and customer service skills next to none. You’ll have excellent business acumen, being able to command a spreadsheet like you can the floor.
You’ll have unwavering commitment to safety as well as:
- Certificate IV in Hospitality or a related field, and/or demonstrated experience in front-of-house supervision within a medium-sized entertainment or hospitality-focused operation;
- A current Working with Children Check;
- Experience in managing food and beverage costs, stock control, purchasing and waste reduction;
- Strong financial awareness and the ability to interpret reports, budgets and cost information;
- Proven ability to engage, lead and inspire others to achieve outcomes for the benefit of the organisation and community.
