As our Supporter Systems and Data Administrator, you’ll take ownership of the technology that underpins our fundraising and supporter engagement. You’ll lead the ongoing development of Salesforce (NPSP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related platforms, delivering innovative solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen data quality and enhance the experience of both our supporters and colleagues. This is an exciting prospect to combine technical expertise with meaningful purpose, helping create lasting impact for communities in need.

About Caritas Australia

Caritas Australia is the international humanitarian and aid agency of the Australian Catholic Church. We have a vision to end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity for all. We partner with the most vulnerable communities to help them build better outcomes by improving access to sustainable livelihoods, clean water, sanitation and education.

Why Work for Caritas Australia?

- Advance your career within the International Aid & Development sector with a focus on professional development and on-the-job learning opportunities.
- Hybrid working arrangements to support your work/life balance.
- Enjoy the perks of our state‑of‑the‑art modern office located in Mascot, with a fully equipped gym.
- Generous leave benefits including wellbeing, birthday and 14 weeks of gender‑neutral parental leave.
- Not‑for‑Profit salary packaging offered.

What Does the Role Involve?

This is far more than a systems administration role. You’ll be the technical lead for our supporter technology ecosystem, taking ownership of Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related platforms.

You’ll design and implement automations, integrations and system enhancements that simplify processes, improve data quality and deliver better experiences for users and supporters alike.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external technology partners, you’ll champion best practice, strengthen governance, support campaign delivery and empower colleagues through training and practical solutions. Above all, you’ll continually look for opportunities to evolve our systems so they remain reliable, scalable and fit for the future.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain Salesforce NPSP, Marketing Cloud and related supporter systems to ensure they are reliable, secure and fit for purpose.
- Deliver system enhancements through configuration, automation and integrations that improve efficiency and capability.
- Support campaign delivery through data management, segmentation, technical configuration and campaign execution.
- Maintain system governance, documentation and data integrity to ensure reliable, compliant platforms.
- Train and support users while driving continuous improvements to system usability and effectiveness.

This role is based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week (Tuesday and Wednesday).

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re seeking an experienced systems professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex problems and building technology that makes a genuine difference. You’ll have considerable experience administering and enhancing Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform, along with the broader supporter systems that connect to it, and a strong understanding of automation, integrations and data governance. You’ll be a natural problem‑solver,

able to translate business needs into practical technical solutions and able to partner with people across an organisation. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, marketing automation and the nonprofit sector will be highly regarded, but curiosity, initiative and commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes are equally important.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

- Extensive Salesforce or comparable CRM administration experience.
- Experience with automation, integrations and system enhancements across a broader technology stack.
- Marketing Cloud or marketing automation platform experience.
- Strong data governance and system administration capability.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and user support skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
