Experienced Commercial Cleaning Team Leader

A well-established commercial cleaning company, now in its 20th year of operation, is seeking to employ an experienced Commercial Cleaning Team Leader.

The role is for an Experienced Commercial Cleaning Team Leader/Mobile Periodical Cleaner.

In this role, you will be expected to travel to multiple sites, assist with daily operations, complete periodical tasks, conduct site inspections, and manage the team of cleaners.

You will be hands-on, training and educating cleaners from a diverse range of cultures on the correct methodologies and processes to achieve the best results.

A company van, fuel card, and all necessary equipment will be provided.

This is a salaried position. Due to the nature of the role, you must be available to work mainly in the afternoons through late nights while cleaners are on-site, and occasionally in the mornings. Weekend availability is also required.

Working days can be negotiated during the interview.

Job Tasks

- Train, mentor & motivate cleaning staff at various sites
- Ensure all periodical tasks are completed to the highest of standards - steam clean carpets, strip and seal, high pressure cleaning, hard floor scrub,



window cleaning... etc
- Ensure before and after photos are taken of periodicals
- Ensure quality assurance and WHS compliance
- Assist area managers with all new sites start ups
- Induct all recent cleaners onsite
- Communicate any issues to area managers and work together to solve issues
- Random inspections of sites whilst the cleaners are on duty
- Maintain company van and equipment, chemicals... etc

Skills & Experience

- A minimum of 3 years commercial cleaning experience, with experience in strip/seal, carpet cleaning, high pressure cleaning, floor scrubbing etc.
- Knowledge on how to use required equipment auto scrubbers, high pressure cleaners, buffers etc
- Valid Drivers License
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid Police Clearance
- Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills with a strong focus on time management & attention to detail
- Able to use own initiative and handle multiple tasks
- You will be required to travel between Brisbane, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast areas.
