The role

Our Sydney depot based at Moorebank have opportunities for both HC and MC Class licensed Drivers to help support operational needs and service a diverse customer base.

Duties

- Participate in load configuration and run planning
- Complete daily, multi-customer and bulk metro pick-up and delivery runs
- Safely transport general freight, machinery, oversize loads in accordance with NHVR and company requirements.
- Process travelling freight paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail
- Operate equipment and handle freight safely and compliantly at all times
- Deliver a high standard of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with both customers and the operations team.

About you

- Hold a current HC or MC Class License
- Provide a certified copy of your driving record
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Computer literate and confident using smartphones, transport apps, electronic POD and in vehicle monitoring systems (IVMS)
- Be a committed, passionate and enthusiastic operator and possess a can/will-do attitude




- Well presented with a professional appearance and customer focused attitude
- Current Forklift (LF) License also an advantage
- Current White card preferred
- Experience with bulk/multi-drop, multi-customer metro pick-up and delivery runs
- Sound working knowledge of Sydney metro area and surrounds
- Experience loading, securing and handling general freight and machinery
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused with a strong work ethic
- Have a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to be flexible in adapting to change in fast paced work setting
- Must have unrestricted Australian work rights

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of HC/MC driving experience.
