As the business continues to grow, they're seeking an experienced Level 3 Building Certifier to lead their team while managing a portfolio of certification projects.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance project delivery with team management. You'll provide technical guidance, mentor junior staff and help drive operational excellence while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and certify residential building applications.
- Conduct mandatory site inspections and issue statutory certifications.
- Lead, mentor and support the certification team.
- Manage workflow and allocate projects across the team.
- Provide technical advice on the NCC, Queensland legislation and certification requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, architects, developers and local authorities.
- Support business growth through exceptional client service and team leadership.
- Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately and in accordance with legislative requirements.

About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:





- Current Queensland Level 3 Building Certifier registration (essential).
- Strong experience delivering residential building certification projects.
- Previous leadership, mentoring or team management experience, or the desire to step into a leadership role.
- Excellent knowledge of the NCC and Queensland building legislation.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- A collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for developing people.
