Job Description

AAS Cleaning & Maintenance pty Ltd The Service Manager is responsible for planning, organising, directing, and coordinating the delivery of cleaning services across multiple client sites. The role oversees service quality, manages operational staff and resources, maintains client relationships, and ensures compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company standards.

Task & responsibilities

- Plan, organise and oversee daily cleaning operations across residential and commercial client sites.
- Manage cleaning teams, including staff scheduling, supervision, performance management and training.
- Ensure cleaning services are delivered in accordance with company procedures, client requirements and quality standards.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve service efficiency, quality and workplace safety.
- Monitor service performance and conduct regular quality inspections to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with clients, respond to enquiries and resolve service-related issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate staff rosters and allocate cleaning personnel to scheduled jobs and service contracts.
- Manage cleaning equipment, materials and inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)



requirements and the safe handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Recruit, train and mentor cleaning staff to support a skilled and productive workforce.
- Monitor operational expenses and assist with budgeting and resource planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and business growth.

Qualification & experience

- Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management, Hospitality or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in service operations management, facilities management or cleaning services management.
- Strong leadership, staff supervision and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience coordinating multiple service schedules and client sites.
- Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and safe cleaning practices.
