We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented HR Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and supporting a busy workplace.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR functions and ensuring the group of more than 350 employees accross multiple sites has the resources and support they need to succeed. This is a hands on leadership role that will see you managing HR processes while driving improvements and supporting future business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Leading the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and new employee orientation
- Maintaining and updating HR records, employee files and personnel databases in compliance with legal requirements and company policies
- Processing and managing employee documentation, including contracts, leave requests, payroll information and performance records
- Leading the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and employee communication initiatives
- Leading process for performance management activities, including appraisals and training programmes
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, entitlements and other workplace matters
- Managing compliance matters, including workplace health and safety, workers' compensation and legislative requirements
- Assisting with employee sponsorship co-ordination
- Preparing HR reports, statistics and documentation as requested by the Managing Director
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive HR information with professionalism and discretion

About You

- A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience in an HR setting
- Proven experience as a HR Manager, preferably within the hospitality or service industry
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems or databases
- Knowledge of Australian employment law, workplace relations and compliance requirements
- A high level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and administrative tasks
- A genuine passion for supporting employees and contributing to a positive workplace
- Preferred: Experience in hospitality, hotel management or customer-facing industries
