Role and Responsibilities
- Maintain and support shared Kubernetes environments, using Rancher to monitor workloads, deployments and platform health.
- Develop, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on reliable build, test and deployment outcomes using Jenkins.
- Automate platform configuration, deployment and operational tasks using Ansible, scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Administer and maintain Linux server environments, including upgrades, patching, troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
- Support secure platform operations, including certificate management, access controls, deployment standards and DevSecOps practices.
- Troubleshoot complex platform, pipeline and environment issues in collaboration with development and QA teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of platform reliability, automation, documentation and engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience supporting Kubernetes environments,
including Rancher or similar platform management tooling.
- Strong Linux administration experience across enterprise server environments.
- Experience building, maintaining or troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
- Practical experience with automation and configuration management, including Ansible and scripting.
- Understanding of containerised application delivery, Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment patterns.
- Experience with certificate management, access controls and secure platform practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication and prioritisation skills across distributed teams.
Legal Requirements
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold an active TSPV Clearance, accompanied by the ability to be successful for an OSA.
