Salary: AUD $80,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation

As part of the internationally recognised SIXT network, the business provides short-term and long-term vehicle rental solutions to private individuals, corporate clients, government organisations, and insurance customers. The branch manages a diverse fleet of passenger vehicles, SUVs, commercial vehicles, and specialty vehicles while delivering high standards of customer service, operational efficiency, and vehicle availability.

Operating within the highly competitive vehicle rental industry, the business coordinates vehicle acquisitions, fleet utilisation, maintenance scheduling, customer bookings, vehicle leasing, logistics, and asset management. Maintaining an efficient and well-managed fleet is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction, maximising vehicle utilisation, controlling operational costs, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Due to increasing customer demand and ongoing fleet expansion, Pacific Automotive Holdings Pty Ltd is seeking to appoint a dedicated Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of its vehicle fleet and rental operations.

About the Role

The Fleet Manager is responsible for organising and controlling the buying, leasing, maintenance, utilisation, and operational management of the company's rental vehicle fleet. The role involves coordinating vehicle availability, customer bookings, fleet maintenance, supplier relationships, operational reporting, regulatory compliance, and customer service to ensure efficient business operations.

The successful applicant will possess strong organisational, leadership, communication,



and problem-solving skills together with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities within a busy vehicle rental environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Organising and coordinating the purchase, leasing, disposal, maintenance, and utilisation of rental vehicles to ensure optimal fleet performance.
- Planning and coordinating vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, registrations, and maintenance schedules to maximise vehicle availability.
- Liaising with customers to determine vehicle rental requirements, provide advice regarding suitable vehicle types, rental rates, insurance obligations, and resolving customer enquiries and complaints.
- Receiving vehicle bookings and coordinating vehicle allocation to ensure productive utilisation of fleet resources.
- Arranging vehicle collection, delivery, transfers, and logistics between customers, branches, workshops, and service providers.
- Monitoring fleet availability, utilisation rates, maintenance costs, fuel usage, and operational performance.
- Maintaining fleet records, operational documentation, maintenance histories, rental agreements, and preparing operational reports for management.
- Coordinating relationships with external suppliers including repairers, maintenance providers, insurers, registration authorities, and transport contractors.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, road transport regulations, vehicle safety requirements, and company operational policies.
- Developing and implementing procedures that improve fleet efficiency,



customer satisfaction, operational performance, and cost control.
- Supervising operational staff involved in fleet coordination and vehicle preparation while providing ongoing guidance and support.

Requirements

Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents preferred.

Applicants should possess:

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Business, Logistics, Automotive Management, Transport Management, Fleet Management, or a related discipline;
- At least three years of relevant work experience may substitute for formal qualifications.

Applicants also demonstrate:

- Experience managing vehicle fleets, rental operations, transport services, or automotive operations.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling, fleet utilisation, and operational planning.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management capability.
- Ability to prepare operational reports and maintain accurate fleet records.
- Experience coordinating vehicle servicing, registrations, repairs, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and vehicle compliance requirements.
- Current Australian Driver Licence (preferred).

Work Conditions

- Work location: 60-62 Captain Cook Drive, Caringbah NSW 2229.
