River Sands Pty Ltd is a vertically integrated manufacturer of packaged mortars, cements and speciality sands. Established for 50 years, its manufacturing operations includes a Sand Quarry and blending facility; a large “Dry Mix” concrete, mortars, cement and sands packing facility. This role is responsible for providing electrical maintenance across the plant where required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems
Perform electrical safety checks;
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, and provide timely and effective solutions;
Comply with all relevant safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment;
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed;
Collaborate with team members to coordinate and prioritise tasks
Key Skills & Experience
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as an Electrician
Experience using MEX and Pronto would be highly regarded, but training will be provided
Strong knowledge ofpreventive and predictive maintenance practices
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with trades, suppliers, and internal teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
