The Hotel Reception and Porters primary responsibility is to welcome guests and assist with all aspects of their experience regarding their stay within the Hotel. This role will also be tasked with administrative duties to complete as well as taking guests luggage to their rooms. It is a requirement to maintain a strong level of knowledge about the resort to provide information to guests as required.

Responsibilities:

- Complete all daily and weekly tasks as per the office checklists ensuring you meet the required deadlines.
- Report all required daily and long-term maintenance to the Front Office Assistant Manager.
- Assisting guests in the hotel and external properties
- Complete hotel reception check in and check out processes
- Accurately process transactions including cash and credit card handling
- Using Guest-Centrix CMS system to input recent bookings and confirm existing bookings
- Answering guest inquiries both face to face and on the switchboard
- Assisting night auditors and housekeeping as required.

Experience / Qualifications / Requirements:

- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role in a hotel and/or travel reservations business.
- Valid Manual Driver’s Licence
