Role Description

The Warehouse Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Wonthaggi, VIC, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficient, secure handling of freight. This position manages stock and inventory accuracy, coordinates receiving and dispatch activities, and monitors storage, picking, packing, and loading processes. The Warehouse Manager leads and schedules warehouse team members, promotes adherence to safety procedures, and supports continuous improvement in workflows and productivity. The role also involves working closely with transport and logistics teams, maintaining warehouse documentation and systems,



and communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to meet service expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong stock control and inventory control skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and stock levels.
- Experience in inventory management and use of warehouse management systems.
- Proficiency in operations management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating warehouse activities.
- Competent forklift operation skills, with a valid forklift and Medium Rigid license and commitment to safe equipment use.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or transport operations, ideally in a freight or distribution environment.
- Effective leadership and team management skills, including coaching, performance oversight, and delegation.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance.
- Ability to work on‑site full‑time in Wonthaggi, VIC, with visits to our Dandenong South depot and perform the physical requirements of warehouse work.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain is advantageous.
