- Basic Servicing:Perform oil changes, fluid flushes, filter replacements, and spark plug installations on passenger vehicles.
- Underbody Inspections:Assist with brake pad replacements, suspension checks, steering alignments, and exhaust systems.
- Tyre Care:Conduct wheel balancing, tyre fitting, punctures repairs, and laser wheel alignments.
- Modern Diagnostics:Learn to use OBD-II scan tools to read fault codes and troubleshoot electrical and engine management systems.
- Workshop Upkeep: Maintain clean service bays, organisespecialist tools, and safely handle hazardous waste like oils and batteries
- AFE Study:
Attend all structured block-release training sessions and maintain an up-to-date logbook.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Year 10 completion with sound passes in English and Mathematics.
- Licence: Manual Driver’s Licence (P-plates or higher) is highly preferred to move client vehicles.
- Aptitude: Keen interest in up-to-date vehicle technology, electronics, and mechanical systems.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, physical fitness for lifting, and a strict adherence to WHS protocols.
