ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator - Insurance Building to join our high performing team in Brisbane. Reporting to the State Manager, this role will be responsible for estimating projects for both commercial and domestic claims, working closely with clients and Insureds, producing cost estimates with the objective of being market competitive, supporting the growth of our business.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

Attend site and complete detailed assessments,



scopes of work and quotes for domestic, strata and commercial buildings with a focus on BAU claims

Utilise state of the art 3D scanning technology to develop accurate scopes of works and costings

Oversee Sales / Estimator budget including planning, forecasting and timelines

Liaise closely with loss adjuster and insurers, monitoring approval rates

Strategically review wins & losses with senior management

Manage client expectations, providing periodic updates, ensuring the best customer experience by building strong customer relationships through communication

Build new & leverage existing relationships with key personnel in the insurance industry

About you:

A strong networker and relationship builder

Experienced in Insurance estimating

Very strong communication skills, organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

A commitment to safety with sound knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures

Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deal with issues encountered across multiple areas within a complex environment.

Experience in negotiation, facilitating and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

A trade preferably carpentrybackground.

Experience with Prime Eco System would be advantageous.
