Alexandra Hills Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our busy food operation. With seating for over 600 guests, our venue caters to families, groups, corporate functions and locals, making no two days the same.

About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our restaurant operation, ensuring outstanding customer service while maintaining high operational standards.
You will work closely with the Hotel Manager, Head Chef and Duty Managers to deliver a seamless dining experience and create a positive culture for both guests and staff.
Your Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a large front-of-house restaurant team.
Deliver exceptional customer service and memorable dining experiences.
Manage daily restaurant operations in a high-volume environment.
Drive team performance through coaching, training and leadership.
Ensure food service standards are consistently maintained.
Manage staffing levels and labour efficiency.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and company procedures.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve excellent service outcomes.
About You
We're looking for someone who is an experienced leader, not just an experienced waiter.
You’ll ideally have:
Previous Restaurant Management experience in a busy hospitality venue, specifically in high volume & turnover venues.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Experience managing large service periods with confidence.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A hands-on management style and willingness to lead by example.
A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required,
