Overview
Join our client as a Multi‑Skilled Excavator/Bobcat Operator for an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a recreational park development project. This role involves initial earthworks, construction of recreational facilities such as running tracks, water parks, landscaped gardens, sports ovals, and playgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Operate 5-8 tonne excavators and Bobcat/Skid Steer machines to conduct exact and efficient earthworks.
- Prepare land for initial construction, including trench excavation, drainage installation, and material transportation.
- Participate in landscaping bulk works to enhance the park's aesthetics and functional design.
- Safely move pipes and materials across the site, ensuring the project stays on track and under safety standards.
- Collaborate with project team members to execute the development plan effectively.
- Maintain machinery in optimal condition to prevent project delays and ensure safe operations.
Qualifications
- - Valid White Card.
- - Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
- - Proven experience in civil projects, particularly outdoor work involving long hours in diverse weather conditions.
- - Proficiency in operating 5-8 tonne excavators and Bobcat/PosiTrack machines on active civil sites.
- - Possession of a Bobcat/Skid Steer/Posi Track Ticket (RIIMPO318F) and Excavator Ticket (RIIMPO320F).
- - Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with a commitment to minimizing absenteeism.
- - Passionate about construction and landscape development.
- - Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- - Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
