This role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling our installation teams.
This is a hands-on role driving the delivery of fit-out projects from planning through to completion. You will work closely with our established team to support and grow the business and its efficiency.
You will be managing the installation of high-quality joinery projects through to handover and final completion. The role is primarily office-based but will also require site visits and involvement in site-based project delivery as required.
The goal of the role is to create and maintain installation schedules that support the achievement of company goals and deadlines. By developing effective schedules, this position plays a key role in helping the company meet its objectives.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the installation process and be able to generate and maintain effective daily and weekly schedules, post schedules, resolve logistical problems and identify opportunities to improve processes.
This role will be performed full time from our Morningside office.

The successful applicant will be organised, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace where no two days are the same.
You will oversee multiple joinery projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while managing client relationships, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
Tasks and responsibilities
Project Coordination:
- Manage multiple joinery installation projects simultaneously within Brisbane,
- Develop strong working relationships with existing installers,
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams,
- Planning and organising weekly work schedules,
- Attending site and assisting with site-based coordination, supervision and delivery where required,
- Supporting project handover, defect management, and close-out documentation.
Project Planning:
- Monitoring job progress and updating schedules, databases and variations as required,
- Coordinate installation dates with manufacturing and production timelines,
- Maintaining project documentation, including drawings, specifications, quotes, and records.
Procurement Management:
- Review contracts alongside the Kitchen Designers, and Assembly team to ensure jobs are installation ready,
- Coordinate the ordering of materials and manage supplier requirements,
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new installers as our team expands.
Compliance & Quality:
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, Australian Standards, and OH&S; requirements,
- Help maintain the high installation standards DDK is known for,
- Support quality assurance and installer performance,
- Identify improvement/innovation opportunities for streamlining the project controls work process.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Main point of contact for customers during the manufacture and installation phase,
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, field personnel and other stakeholders,
- Directly engage with installers to provide regular job status updates,
- Managing project documentation and administrative tasks,
- Build relationships and support the objectives of the business.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Problem solve schedule disruptions and provide options for consideration by customers/installation team,
- Identifying risks, issues and delays and escalating where required,
- Assist with resolving operational issues when required.
Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience working as an installation coordinator or scheduler of field-based teams,
- Experience using CRMs (Salesforce),
- Sharp coordination skills, positive attitude, pride in your work,
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure to handle changing priorities,
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks,
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-management,
- Professionally presented, reliable, and able to liaise with a diverse client group,
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (word, excel and OneNote),
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Experience within cabinet making, construction or trade-based industries highly regarded,
- Communicates confidently with customers, tradespeople and internal teams,
- Takes pride in delivering a smooth experience for both customers and installers,
- A proactive, practical approach and willingness to work across both office and site environments.
