Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex located on Eighty Road, Baldivisis the City’s newest leisure facility. The Complex includes fourindoor courts, multi-purpose community spaces and a café. TheComplex provides our community with access to exceptional leisureand sport facilities.

As a Facility Officer, you will support the AssistantCoordinator and Coordinator with the daily operations andmaintenance of the Complex.

This role is perfect if you have experience in the recreationindustry and in maintaining leisure facilities in accordance withlegislative regulations and industry guidelines. Passionate aboutsports and enabling the community to become more active, you willneed to have sound interpersonal and communication skills, as wellnegotiation and conflict resolution skills. A current Working withChildren Check and Provide First Aid Certificate are alsoessential.

Applicants must be adaptable and available to work in line withthe Centres’ opening hours, which vary. Positions are offered witha guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per week (excluding during schoolholidays). It is essential that you possess the following:

- Current Working with Children Check (or ability toobtain)
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate

It will be highly regarded if you possess:





- Previous experience in the recreation industry, in asimilar position

To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

- Experience in collection and handling of cash receipts
- Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ensure appropriate levels of behaviour are maintained byfacility patrons
- Maintain the facility and immediate surrounds in a clean,tidy and presentable condition

The Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex has setopening hours, however, the centre also caters for a large numberof bookings Monday to Sunday outside of these hours. Monday-Fridayshifts can vary from 2:30pm-10:00pm whilst weekend shifts can varyfrom 7:00am-10:00pm.
