Brisbane-based (2 days work from home)
I'm looking for an engineer who gets a kick out of making Kubernetes clusters more reliable, automating away repetitive work, and building cloud platforms that scale without becoming a maintenance nightmare.
The environment is heavily AWS-based, with Kubernetes at its core.
Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, CI/CD, automation, observability... all the good stuff. The kind of role where you'll spend more time engineering solutions than firefighting.
What stood out most wasn't the tech though.
It was the mindset.
This is a team that genuinely invests in engineering quality. You'll have the prospect to influence platform direction, mentor other engineers, challenge existing ways of working,
and leave the platform in a better place than you found it.
If you're someone who enjoys asking:
"How can we automate this?"
"Why does this process exist?"
"How do we make this more resilient?"
...you'll probably enjoy this role.
