About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director,



the Operations Manager will oversee operational performance across production, procurement, project delivery, estimating, systems, compliance and business support functions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on operational leadership and who can confidently work across multiple areas of a growing business, including owning important client relationships.

You will work closely with the Production Manager, Project Manager/s, Estimator/s and Design team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

- Lead and support operational functions across production support, procurement, logistics and compliance
- Drive operational efficiency, process improvement and business scalability
- Oversee supplier relationships, procurement and inventory management
- Support WHS compliance, quality systems and operational reporting
- Coordinate support functions including administration and People & Culture activities
- Foster a collaborative, accountable and positive team culture

Project Delivery

- Oversee customer projects from order through to delivery and handover
- Coordinate project schedules, resources and production requirements
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution




- Monitor timelines, budgets, variations and operational risks
- Support estimating and quotation activities
- Review technical drawings and specifications
- Assist with cost control, margins and operational performance improvements

About You

- Experience in operations, manufacturing, electrical, engineering or related industries
- Strong leadership capability with a collaborative and no‑ego approach
- The ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong commercial awareness and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
- A calm, organised and outcomes‑focused approach
- Technical understanding of manufacturing, projects or electrical systems (highly regarded)
- Experience in switchboards, electrical manufacturing, panel building or related industries will be highly regarded.
