Job Title: Final Trim Excavator Operator

Overview

ZOOM Recruitment is seeking a skilled and dedicated Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our agile team for a 12+ month project, with potential opportunities for full-time permanent positions in future projects.

Responsibilities

- Operate 14t excavator to conduct final trim works (non GPS) and prepare the development area for initial construction.

- Execute precision excavation tasks, including trenches, drainage channels, and site grading according to specifications.

- Safely move pipes, materials, and dirt around the site to facilitate site operations.

- Collaborate with the on-site team to contribute to hard and soft landscape works.

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain equipment in excellent working condition.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure the smooth progression of the project.

Qualifications

- Possession of a valid Construction White Card.





- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

- Excavator Ticket (RIIMPO320F - Conduct Civil Operations) required.

- Demonstrated experience in final trim work within civil construction projects.

- Previous experience working on civil projects in recreational parks or landscaping is advantageous.

- Strong commitment to safety and a proven track record of maintaining a safe working workplace.

- The ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to an inclusive and equitable workplace.

- Strong attention to detail and the capacity to execute high-precision tasks.

- Reliability and a proactive approach to work.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview and undergo functional testing as part of the employment process.
