We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join a growing manufacturing organisation. This role will play a key part in managing supply chain activities across purchasing, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners, you will ensure materials and products are available when required while optimising inventory levels, improving delivery performance, and supporting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage purchasing activities including purchase orders, supplier communication, delivery tracking, and issue resolution
- Develop and maintain supply, inventory, and demand plans to support customer requirements
- Monitor supplier performance and work collaboratively to resolve supply constraints and risks
- Analyse forecasts, inventory levels, and material requirements to ensure optimal stock availability
- Manage ERP planning systems, including SAP, to maintain accurate supply chain data
- Support inventory optimisation initiatives including reducing excess stock and improving replenishment strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales, operations, logistics, and procurement to improve supply chain outcomes




- Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor key supply chain metrics including delivery performance, inventory levels, and cost improvements

About You: You will be an experienced supply chain professional with a strong understanding of planning, purchasing, and inventory management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

To be successful, you will have:

- 5+ years' experience in supply chain planning, procurement, purchasing, or materials management
- Strong SAP experience (essential)
- Experience with forecasting, MRP, inventory management, and supply planning processes
- Advanced Excel skills and robust analytical capability
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve supply issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solving
