Inspection Ninjas supports real estate agencies and property managers by working in the "field" on their behalf.
And we are on the lookout for the next "Ninja" to join our team. We have an opportunity for new team members who are looking for two to three days work per week and are based in either the Logan or Ipswich areas.
So what does it take to become an Inspection Ninja?
Apart from an understanding that there is absolutely nothing "routine" about conducting property inspections, you will also need:
Australian work rights are required for this position.
A driver's license (A Ninja's gotta have their own wheels)
Qld Real Estate Registration (Ninjas aren't above the law)
A keen eye for detail (Ninjas can spot mould at 20 paces)
Previous experience in property inspections or a willingness to learn (we provide training, but being a quick learner is definitely a Ninja trait)
Who is best suited to becoming an Inspection Ninja?
Ninjas come from all different walks of life (we can't be put in a box).
But… there are a few common characteristics that our Ninjas share. It's kind of like a code. A Ninja Code. Here are some of the main qualities an Inspection Ninja must possess:
Respectfulness - how a Ninja conducts themselves, regardless of the situation is critical
Discretion - privacy is something that all Ninjas value
Reliability - our clients are depending upon us and Ninjas don't let people down.
Punctuality - lots of what we do is time sensitive so being on time, all the time, is critical. It's the first requirement for stealth.
What does the role of an Inspection Ninja involve?
At the moment, we have an opportunity for a Ninja to be a routine inspections "specialist". This role is ideal for someone who not only enjoys being on the go all day but likes to work independently.
On a daily basis, the role involves visiting different properties, interacting with residents if they are home, identifying any areas of concern and preparing reports using the latest technology. You become the eyes and ears (and nose) of the Property Manager.
Do I need experience?
Some of our most successful Ninjas have been a property manager in another life.
But not all.
Some have worked in hospitality. Others have a background in retail.
If you are very early on in your real estate career. Say you've got your real estate certificate but haven't got any experience in property management and are really keen to learn, you might still be Ninja material. We have a outstanding training program for newbies.
What is Ninja Flex?
This is what we call our internal scheduling for the hours our Ninjas are on the clock. We get that not everyone wants to work every day, or even all day (someone's gotta pick the kids up from school).
If you are studying, returning to work after Mat Leave or simply want to have a few days free each week to pursue your latest passion (golf anyone??), working as an Inspection Ninja may suit you to a tee (yet another golf reference, sorry!). Ninja Flex is all about supporting our Ninjas to live their best life.
