- Maximum Term (6 months) Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $85,075 pa ($43.05 per hour) including allowances, PLUS penalty rates where applicable + 12% super (level 6)

- 76 hour fortnight - some weekends required

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Waste Management Facility Operator, and help provide essential services for our communities.

Our Waste Management Facilities are busy and vital services, with commercial trucks responsible for the 45,000 kerbside collections made each day, as well as trade and domestic visitors from across our region.

As one of our Operators, you'll be operating a range of heavy, medium and light plant and be focused on the safety of people, plant and environmental impacts across site.

You’ll also support other operation activities and administrative tasks supporting the wider goals of the Waste & Resource Recovery department.

About you

We're looking for a safety conscious team player with experience in operating various plant, ideally in a similar environment. You'll have a...

- Current HR class driver’s licence; and
- Construction Induction Card

... as well as certification in of at least two of the following machines (and willing to obtain certification in the remaining):

- RIIMPO321F – Conduct civil construction wheeled front end loader operations (highly desired)
- RIIMPO316E – Conduct self-propelled compactor operations
- RIIMPO320F – Conduct civil construction excavator operations (highly desired)
- RIIMPO308F – Conduct tracked dozer operations (highly desired)
- RIIMPO315E – Tractor Operations.

The team work 76 hours across a 9 day fortnight, on a repeating roster. Weekend days are required.
