Looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join the team at Portland Projects' in Sydney. This full-time position involves maintaining and enhancing the facilities and properties managed by our company. As an experienced Handyman, you will be responsible for completing a wide range of general maintenance tasks to ensure our properties are well-kept and safe for our clients.
What you'll be doing
Conducting routine inspections and identifying maintenance needs across our properties
Performing general handyman duties such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
Assisting with the installation and repair of fixtures, fittings, and equipment
Responding promptly to service requests and completing work within agreed timelines
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations
Maintaining detailed records of completed tasks and materials used
Supporting the wider facilities management team as required
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role
Strong practical skills and the ability to work with a wide range of tools and equipment
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Versatile and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
