Patriot Campers is an industry leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality, Australian-made off-road camper trailers. We're seeking a motivated and reliable Storeperson/Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team and help support the production of our award-winning products.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll be a key part of the production process. You'll be responsible for the accurate picking, movement, and delivery of parts and materials throughout our warehouse and manufacturing facility. Your efficiency and attention to detail will help ensure the production lines stay on schedule and the right parts are always in the right place at the right time.
This is a full time position working 9 days per fortnight (average 38 hrs per week).
Hours of operation are :
Week 1 - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) and 7.00am -3.30pm (Friday)
Week 2 - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) and RDO (Friday)
Key Responsibilities
Pick parts accurately using detailed picking lists to supply production lines
Deliver picked parts and materials to various production departments/stations in line with production schedules
Move parts between factory processes to ensure smooth production flow
Receive and check incoming deliveries for damage or missing items
Store goods safely and correctly in designated warehouse locations
Pick and pack orders for dispatch
Load goods for dispatch using forklifts and lifting equipment
Accurately input inventory and stock movement data into the system
Maintain tidy and organised warehouse and production storage areas
Carry out stock counts and cycle checks as required
Keep documentation and records up to date and accurate
About You
Proven experience in a warehouse or storeperson role (preferably in a production or manufacturing environment)
Solid understanding of picking processes and using picking slips
Ability to prioritise and coordinate part delivery to multiple production areas
Current forklift licence and forklift driving experience
The ability to read shop drawings is also highly desirable
Work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Commitment and knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety
High level of attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
Comfortable with physical tasks and manual handling
Solid computer literacy and ability to use stock/inventory systems
A proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a close-knit team
