We are seeking an experienced and hands-onFinancial Controllerto lead our finance function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Group while providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function across multiple entities within the Group.
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management reports, financial analysis and performance insights.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting, taxation and regulatory obligations.
- Develop strong working relationships with external accountants, bankers, insurers and other advisers.
- Provide commercial and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Review and improve financial systems, controls and business processes.
- Oversee the Group's insurance portfolio,
ensuring policies remain current and appropriate.
- Coordinate annual tax planning and forecasting with external accountants.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of three finance staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About You
You are a confident finance leader who combines strong technical accounting expertise with commercial acumen and excellent leadership skills.
You will bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a senior finance or financial management role.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification (Highly regarded).
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with MYOB (essential).
- Experience with Wage Easy (desirable).
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
