Upskills QLD is a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO 40840) delivering high-quality, nationally recognised training throughout Queensland.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Contract Trainers & Assessors to deliver training across local and regional Queensland.
This role is ideal for experienced industry professionals who enjoy delivering engaging, practical training while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and student outcomes.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering and assessing nationally recognised training in:
- RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights
- RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
- RIIHAN301E – Operate Elevated Work Platform
Training will be delivered at client sites and training venues throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland. Travel, including occasional overnight stays, will be required.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging face-to-face theory and practical training.
- Conduct competency-based assessments in accordance with training package requirements.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Complete training documentation accurately and on time.
- Follow Upskills QLD policies, procedures and session plans.
- Maintain vocational competency and industry currency.
- Represent Upskills QLD professionally with clients and students.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent meeting current requirements).
- Vocational competency to deliver:
- RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights
- RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
- RIIHAN301E – Operate Elevated Work Platform
- Current industry experience and demonstrated industry currency.
- Current White Card.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A solid commitment to safety, compliance and quality training.
Highly Regarded
- Experience delivering training within an RTO.
- Additional high-risk or civil construction competencies.
- Experience delivering training to mining, construction or industrial clients.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout regional Queensland.
