If you like fixing things properly, thinking ahead and being part of a good team, we'd like to talk.

We're looking for someone who enjoys keeping machinery running well and takes pride in doing the job properly.

This isn't a role where you wait for something to break. You'll help get production running each day, make sure equipment is performing as it should, then get on with preventative maintenance, equipment improvements and the many jobs that keep the factory, buildings and grounds operating safely and reliably. When production needs you, you're there. When it doesn't, you're making sure it probably won't.

What the role looks like

No two days are the same. You'll help get production underway each morning and be available whenever the Production Team needs mechanical support.

Between production priorities, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, improve equipment reliability and look after the buildings, infrastructure and grounds that keep the business operating safely and efficiently.

Some days you'll be fault finding. Other days you'll be servicing machinery, maintaining site infrastructure, organising contractors, repairing equipment or getting ahead on maintenance projects.

- Demonstrated experience maintaining machinery, equipment or mechanical systems in manufacturing, agriculture, food production or a similar operational environment.
- Strong mechanical fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
- Ability to organise work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Right to work in Australia.





Selection Criteria

Applicants will be assessed on their demonstrated ability to:

1. Maintain production machinery and equipment to support safe, reliable and productive operations.
2. Diagnose faults and implement practical maintenance solutions.
3. Plan and carry out preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
4. Maintain buildings, infrastructure and facilities to an appropriate standard.
5. Work collaboratively with production teams while supporting food safety and workplace safety requirements.
6. Organise work effectively, communicate clearly and respond calmly to changing operational priorities.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Fitting & Turning, Diesel Mechanics or a related trade.
- Experience in dairy, food manufacturing or food processing.
- Welding, fabrication or machining experience.
- Knowledge of HACCP or food manufacturing requirements.
